State Enterprise “Harvest Management Company” to Take Over Hail‑Damaged Grapes in Kakheti

State enterprise LLC “Harvest Management Company” has begun accepting hail‑damaged wine grapes from growers in Kakheti. Starting today, affected winegrowers can deliver damaged grapes to the company at a price of 1 GEL per kilogram, according to information released by the National Wine Agency.

Heavy rainfall and severe hail in the Telavi and Akhmeta municipalities damaged agricultural fields, including an estimated 150 hectares of vineyards, based on initial assessments.

The Harvest Coordination Headquarters is operating 24 hours a day, mobilizing all resources to ensure that affected winegrowers can complete their harvest without disruption.

Information related to the harvest is available through the hotline of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture at 1501 and the hotline of the Harvest Coordination Headquarters at 0322 193 283.

As of September 13, wineries in the Kakheti region had already processed 27,000 tons of grapes.
