On October 3-4, Tbilisi Oktoberfest was held at ZECHE. Löwenbräu continued its tradition of bringing the spirit of Munich’s celebration to Georgia.
The festival kicked off on October 3 with the traditional beer keg opening ceremony. Over the two days, guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere, a variety of German dishes, fun activities, and live music, along with Löwenbräu beer. Guests also took part in various entertaining games and activities. On the evening of October 3, The Skittles Band and Sherekilebi set the mood with live performances. On October 4, DJ Alfreda Stieglitz opened the festival’s musical program, which was brought to a close by DJ Jackie.
‘Oktoberfest is the world’s largest festival, attracting a huge number of people. In Georgia, we are trying to develop beer culture and the beer industry, and this festival serves that very purpose. Of course, Oktoberfest is also a celebration of friendship, coming together, and sharing emotions and joy. Oktoberfest is unimaginable without Löwenbräu,’ - said Nikoloz Khundzakishvili, Corporate Affairs Director of EFES Georgia.
Oktoberfest is a 200-year-old German tradition that has evolved into a global celebration of beer, food, and culture. Every year, beer lovers from around the world gather at the festival to enjoy an unforgettable Munich experience. Oktoberfest is one of the world’s largest festivals, attracting more than 6 million visitors annually. Löwenbräu is one of only six breweries permitted to participate in Oktoberfest. Notably, Löwenbräu beer has been served at every Oktoberfest since 1810.
