Qvevri Wine Producers Participate in RAW Wine Berlin 2025 International Exhibition

With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Embassy of Georgia to the Federal Republic of Germany, four qvevri wine producers from Georgia participated in the international natural wine exhibition RAW Wine Berlin 2025, held in Berlin.

RAW Wine is one of the most prominent international exhibitions bringing together producers of high-quality natural, organic, and biodynamic wines. The exhibition is organized by renowned French Master of Wine Isabelle Legeron.

The presentation of Georgian qvevri wine at RAW Wine Berlin is important for promoting qvevri winemaking traditions, helping producers connect with potential importers, and increasing export opportunities.

This year’s Berlin exhibition featured more than 100 natural wine producers from 13 countries, including nations with long-standing winemaking traditions such as France, Italy, Portugal, and others. As is customary, Georgian wine attracted strong interest from wine professionals and visitors alike.

It is also noteworthy that with the support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian qvevri wine producers participated in RAW Wine exhibitions in 2025 in New York, Tokyo, Paris, Shanghai, Copenhagen, and Verona.

To increase the export potential of Georgian wine and diversify target markets, and with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine was presented during 2025 at 36 exhibitions and festivals and at up to 300 tasting seminars across approximately 20 countries in the United States, Europe, and Asia. These activities are carried out within the framework of the State Program for the Promotion of Georgian Wine, which has a budget of GEL 17.4 million for the current year.
