Polish Wine Professionals Visit Georgia to Evaluate and Promote Georgian Wine

In an effort to boost Georgian wine exports to Poland, a professional tour was organized in Georgia for Polish wine experts by the National Wine Agency and its contractor marketing company, People PR.

According to the Agency, the eight-member delegation included wine importers, commercial sector representatives, and representatives from People PR.

During the tour, the guests visited wineries in the Kartli and Kakheti regions, where they learned about Georgian winemaking techniques and sampled wines produced through both classical and traditional methods.

A Georgian wine tasting was also held in Tbilisi, where 15 Georgian wine-producing companies presented a variety of wines. Local producers received valuable assessments and recommendations from the Polish professionals.

Poland remains one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine and has consistently ranked among the top five export destinations. According to data from January to September of this year, around 5 million bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to Poland—a 13% increase compared to the same period last year.
