National Wine Agency Supports 13 Wine Festivals and Professional Events Across Georgia in the First Half of the Year
With the financial support of the National Wine Agency, 13 wine exhibitions, festivals, and professional events were held across Georgia during the January–June period of this year under the State Program for the Promotion of Georgian Wine Products on the Domestic Market.
The National Wine Agency has been implementing the program since 2024. Its objective is to promote Georgian wine on the domestic market, support the development of wine tourism, and foster a stronger wine culture among consumers. Through the program, the Agency provides financial support for Georgian wine festivals, thematic exhibitions, competitions, and educational events organized throughout the country's wine-producing regions.
During the first six months of the year, the Agency supported the following events: Zero Compromise, Wine Salon "Sherekilebi", Saamuri – Natural Wine Exhibition, Wine Ambassadors, The Malkhaz Kharbedia New Wine Festival, The Ioram Tarkhnishvili Wine Festival, The International Wine Marketing and Media Forum, The Georgian Wine and Regional Heritage Festival, Merano, The Bolnisi Protected Designation of Origin Wine Festival, the Best Sommelier of Georgia Competition, Tbilisi Gastro Week, and the Red & White Wine Exhibition.
These events contribute to raising the profile of Georgian wine in the domestic market, supporting the development of the country's winemaking sector, strengthening Georgia's wine tourism potential, and increasing consumer awareness of the diversity and quality of Georgian wines.
