Grape Harvest in Kakheti Reaches 64 Thousand Tons as of September 19

As of September 19, approximately 64,000 tons of grapes have been processed in the Kakheti region, according to the National Wine Agency.

Around 4,500 winegrowers have delivered grapes to wineries. Of the total grapes processed, 29,300 tons are Saperavi, 28,300 tons are Rkatsiteli, and the remainder consists of other grape varieties.

Currently, 425 wine companies and cellars are registered with the Harvest Coordination Headquarters, of which 163 are actively participating in the grape reception and processing process.

The Harvest Coordination Headquarters operates 24/7, with all necessary resources mobilized to ensure that winegrowers can complete the harvest without disruptions.
