Georgian Wine Tastings Held in Three U.S. States
With the support of the National Wine Agency and organized by the Agency's contractor Vinoveli Inc., 15 Georgian wine tasting events were held at retail outlets and chain stores across the U.S. states of Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey.
At each event, a dedicated promotional tasting area featured five Georgian wines from three different wineries, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the diversity and quality of Georgian wine.
The campaign aimed to promote Georgian wine, increase consumer interest, and further strengthen its recognition and competitiveness in the U.S. market.
During the events, visitors sampled premium-quality Georgian wines and learned about Georgia's 8,000-year-old winemaking heritage, the country's rich diversity of indigenous grape varieties, and the traditional qvevri winemaking method.
The United States is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine, characterized by high quality standards and strong market competition. In recent years, numerous marketing initiatives supported by the National Wine Agency have made a significant contribution to increasing both the awareness of Georgian wine and its exports to the U.S. market.
