During the reporting period, nine wine tours were organized in Georgia for international wine professionals, representatives of the wine trade, and members of the media.
Approximately 200 wine companies and wineries participated in promotional events both internationally and across Georgia.
To further promote Georgian wine, active cooperation continued with leading international media outlets and publishers, including Gambero Rosso TV, SOMM TV, the New York Post, SevenFifty Daily, VinePair, and Grapefriend.
At the initiative of the National Wine Agency under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, and by decision of the Government of Georgia, National Wine Day was established to showcase Georgian wine as an essential part of the country's identity, centuries-old history, and unique cultural heritage. The celebration is held annually on May 8.
Promotional activities in strategic and priority export markets are implemented by the National Wine Agency's contracted marketing companies. With the Agency's support, Georgian producers participate in all major international wine and alcoholic beverage exhibitions, while media campaigns and consumer-focused promotional activities have also been expanded.
The Agency's strategic export markets remain the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, China, South Korea, and Japan.
