Georgian Wine Presentation Held in the Kingdom of the Netherlands
With the support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of its contractor, Wijnimport Bleeker, a presentation of Georgian wine was held at the Folie Culinaire international gastronomy festival in the city of Maastricht, in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Over the course of the three-day event, thousands of visitors had the opportunity to taste around 50 different wine styles produced by about 20 Georgian wineries, made using both classical and qvevri winemaking methods.
The festival, held annually since 2013, is attended by local wine experts, sommeliers, and representatives of the commercial sector, HoReCa, and media. Its audience makes it an important platform for increasing awareness and export opportunities for Georgian wine in the European market.
One of the key priorities of the National Wine Agency is the promotion and global recognition of Georgian wine. Since 2013, the Agency has been implementing targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the American, European, and Southeast Asian markets to diversify export destinations.
With the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine was presented during the first nine months of 2025 at 21 exhibitions and festivals, as well as 220 tasting seminars across 20 countries worldwide.
