With the support of the National Wine Agency and the Embassy of Georgia in the Federative Republic of Brazil, five Georgian wine companies participated in the international wine and spirits exhibition – ProWine São Paulo – held in the city of São Paulo.
The participation of Georgian producers in such a large-scale exhibition is significant for raising awareness of Georgian wine and expanding export markets.
Vasil Kuchukhidze, Counselor of the Embassy of Georgia in Brazil, attended ProWine São Paulo and met with the participating Georgian entrepreneurs.
ProWine exhibitions are major annual events for wine producers around the world, providing opportunities to establish new business contacts—including with importers—and to explore modern technologies and services. The flagship exhibition is held in Düsseldorf, Germany, while satellite events take place throughout the year in Tokyo, Shanghai, Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and São Paulo.
With the support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine has been showcased at ProWine exhibitions in Germany, Brazil, Japan, and China.
