Georgian Grand Tasting Showcases Georgian Wine in Warsaw

The Georgian Grand Tasting, a large-scale promotional event dedicated to Georgian wine, was held in Warsaw through the joint efforts of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and its Polish marketing partner, People PR.

The event, aimed at promoting Georgian wine and diversifying its export markets, brought together Polish wine professionals, importers, representatives of the HoReCa (hotel, restaurant, and café) sector, and members of the media.

A total of 40 Georgian wineries presented a wide selection of wines during the tasting. Events of this format provide an excellent opportunity for Georgian producers to establish new business relationships with Polish importers and distributors, helping to expand sales and strengthen their presence in the Polish market.

The programme also featured a series of masterclasses led by Ana Godabrelidze, Chair of the National Wine Agency's State Tasting Commission; Irakli Cholobargia, Events Coordinator at the National Wine Agency; and Polish sommeliers Jan Knobery and Szymon Milonas.

Georgian wine producers participating in the Georgian Grand Tasting also received support from the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Poland, which contributed to the successful organization of the event.

Poland is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine and has consistently ranked among the top five destinations for Georgian wine exports. Since 2022, the National Wine Agency has partnered with People PR to promote Georgian wine in Poland, contributing to the market's steady growth and the continuous increase in Georgian wine exports.
