Tbilisi International Airport Earns Top 10 Spot in Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024

Tbilisi International Airport has been ranked among the Top 10 airports worldwide for passenger volumes up to 5 million at the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024. Sharing this honor are global counterparts including Durban, Ottawa, Goa, and Billund, showcasing Tbilisi's elevated standards in passenger service and airport facilities.

Furthermore, at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024, both Tbilisi and Batumi international airports clinched a position in the Top 10 list for Eastern Europe. Remarkably, Tbilisi International Airport has consistently secured its place in this category for eleven consecutive years, while Batumi International Airport has marked its third.

Passenger surveys positioned the international airports of Budapest, Tallinn, Riga, Tbilisi, and Sofia among the top five in Eastern Europe, reflecting high passenger satisfaction. The awards ceremony was held with much fanfare in Frankfurt during the Passenger Terminal Expo 2024.

Skytrax, the reputable British consulting firm specializing in aviation industry analysis, has been conducting comprehensive research and service quality assessments for airports and airlines since 1999. The World Airport Awards are a global benchmark of airport excellence, determined by passenger feedback from over 100 countries and 570 airports. The survey invites passengers to rate their experience across various service and product key performance indicators at airports, establishing a comprehensive view of their overall satisfaction.
