Georgia Will Receive Foreign Tourists from July 1

As announced Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, the Government has taken decision to unlock Tbilisi on May 11 and Rustavi and Gardabani on May 14.

“Driving will be fully resumed to and from Tbilisi on May 11. This does not signify that the curfew will be abolished all over the country. On May 14 driving will be fully resumed in Rustavi and Gardabani too”, the Prime Minister noted.

As reported, the Government restricted driving to and from Kutaisi, Rustavi, Tbilisi and Batumi on April 15.

We remind you that restrictions were abolished in Kutaisi in Batumi on May 5.

At the same time, domestic tourism activities will be resumed on June 15, while foreign tourists will be let visit Georgia starting July 1, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted.
