Canyoning Infrastructure at Uchkho Canyon Arranged

Canyoning infrastructure arrangement works have been finished at Uchkho Canyon. Specially trained instructors will assist adventure travelers in visiting the location safely.

It is very important that guides were selected as canyoning instructors at Uchkho Gorge who have passed theoretical and practical training in Samegrelo Region and Uchkho Gorge. Adventure travelers have the opportunity to descend the 12-cascade waterfall by ropes in the 1.5-km canyon. Uchkho is the first canyoning tourism route in Adjara.

The project is being implemented by the tourism products development agency of Adjara Tourism Department with the financial support of EU and UNDP, as part of the ENPARD program
