₾47 Million Invested in Large-Scale Rehabilitation Works of Kutaisi Airport in 2023
In 2023, large-scale rehabilitation works are planned in Kutaisi Airport, the total investment budget of which will be 47 million GEL.
Within the framework of the project, the design of a new runway of 3.5 km will be completed, the planned rehabilitation of three-way tracks and the platform will be carried out, a new parking lot designed for an additional 400 cars will be built; Light signaling systems corresponding to international standards will be updated and installed.
Work on the airport development strategy will be completed in 2023. This project will be implemented with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
