Startups from Georgia Can Participate in the Partnership Program of Astana Hub and Google for Startups in Kazakhstan

Silkway Accelerator program truly drives the industry and our ecosystem. Over the course of three cohorts of Silkway Accelerator, 37 startups have entered international markets and achieved remarkable results: these companies have a combined valuation of $400 million, an MRR of $2 million, and have attracted $7.5 million in investments during the acceleration period.

I would like to highlight that we are currently implementing another acceleration program in partnership with Draper University, where 15 of our startups are undergoing training in Silicon Valley, and many of them are graduates of previous Silkway Accelerator cohorts," noted Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.

The competition for a spot in the third cohort was highly intensive, as in the previous two cohorts, with 280 applications received from 8 countries. 15 startups were selected for the program, and only 12 of them successfully completed it, demonstrating rapid growth within three months. In the third cohort of Silkway Accelerator, participants collectively attracted $575,000 in investments, tripled their average MRR, and secured preliminary agreements with investors for $1.25 million.

"During the program, we digitized our processes, identified our main business strategy, started to position ourselves in terms of marketing, and most importantly, attracted $250,000 in investments. This will allow us to strengthen our market presence, establish strategic partnerships with key players in the industry, for example, we are ready to enter the markets of Southeast Asia. We aim to simplify and improve the rental process by providing reliable contracts, efficient management, and enhanced security for both parties," shared Kanat Keldibekov, founder of ApartX.

Successful entry into global markets requires experience, partnerships, and best practices, and this is precisely what the Silkway Accelerator program offers. The program is thoroughly designed for startups at the Product/Market Fit (PMF) and Scale stages, providing assistance in creating efficient business processes, scaling, networking with like-minded individuals, and preparing for investments in partnership with Google for Startups.

Participants gain free access to unique masterclasses and mentorship from top Google experts, experienced trackers, and Astana Hub mentors, as well as PR support. In turn, Astana Hub provides participants with accommodation and coworking spaces. Thus, the acceleration program creates all the necessary conditions for startups to learn how to effectively build business processes, establish partnerships, scale their operations, and prepare for investment. The fourth cohort of Silkway Accelerator will commence in August of this year. The selection process consists of several stages, with projects being evaluated by a special committee composed of experts from Central Asian countries and representatives of Google Developers. The training will be conducted in an offline format in Astana and will last for three months.
