Natia Turnava Attends IMF–World Bank Group Meeting, Moderates Panel on Central Banks and Green Economy
National Bank of Georgia Governor Natia Turnava, along with Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili, participated in the official opening session of the IMF–World Bank Group Meeting held in Luxembourg.
As part of the forum, a high-level panel discussion titled “The Role of Central Banks in a Green Economy” will be held, moderated by Natia Turnava.
The session’s keynote speaker will be Frank Elderson, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank. Discussions will focus on sustainable finance, climate change, and the critical role central banks play in supporting the transition to a green economy.
The IMF–World Bank Group Economic and Financial Services Meeting (OEDNE/EDS19) serves as a vital platform for policymakers, heads of financial institutions, and global economic experts to exchange perspectives on pressing global challenges and explore solutions for economic effectiveness and sustainability.
