Georgian National Pavilion Showcased at Foodex Saudi 2025 in Riyadh
With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, the Georgian National Pavilion was presented at the Foodex Saudi 2025 International Agricultural Exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from September 21 to 24.
Six Georgian companies — Agrokiziki, Hobi, Achinubuli, Aromaproduct, Georgian Hazelnut Corporation and Barambo — participated in the exhibition, presenting chilled lamb, honey, organic juices, nuts and a variety of sweets.
Foodex Saudi is one of the largest food and beverage exhibitions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing together representatives from more than 50 countries and over 500 local and international companies.
“We help Georgian producers present their products in important markets for them; that is why we are in one of the most powerful economies in the Middle East — the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — at the international exhibition Foodex Saudi 2025,” said Nika Urushadze, Acting Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency.
According to Nikoloz Revazishvili, Georgian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the exhibition is not only one of the largest in Saudi Arabia but also in the entire Gulf region.
“Georgian companies are given the opportunity to establish direct contact with local partners and discuss opportunities to increase the import of Georgian products into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is important for further deepening trade and economic relations,” noted the Ambassador.
