Minister: Ensuring Competitive, High-Quality Georgian Products Is a Top Priority

“The Ministry’s objective is to ensure that Georgian products are competitive and of high quality,” said Davit Songulashvili.

According to the Minister, one of the key components in achieving this goal is traceability, which is directly linked to improving product quality.

“Ultimately, the Ministry’s main task is to ensure that Georgian products are competitive and of high quality, both in the domestic market and for export. All ongoing initiatives are aimed at achieving this objective,” he stated.

The Minister also noted that within the framework of sectoral councils, all challenges—both small-scale and broader issues—are discussed in detail. Meetings in this format are being held intensively to address sector needs effectively.
