David Songulashvili Opens New Regional Office of the National Agency of Mineral Resources in Kutaisi

As part of his working visit to the Imereti region, Georgia's Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, officially opened the new regional office of the National Agency of Mineral Resources in Kutaisi.

During the visit, the Minister toured the newly renovated and fully equipped office, which has been designed in accordance with modern standards, and met with the Agency's staff. He emphasized that a comfortable and modern working environment will contribute to greater operational efficiency and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and businesses.

"The opening of the National Agency of Mineral Resources' new regional office in western Georgia is an important step toward improving access to public services and strengthening the effective management of the country's mineral resources sector in the regions. It is essential that both citizens and businesses have access to the services they need quickly and efficiently, close to where they operate. Our goal is to build more transparent and results-oriented services by introducing modern approaches and best practices while ensuring full compliance with environmental standards," said David Songulashvili.

Joining the Minister at the opening ceremony were Lasha Avaliani and Giorgi Tskrialashvili, Deputy Ministers of Environmental Protection and Agriculture; David Eremeishvili, Mayor of Kutaisi; Abel Abesadze, Head of the National Agency of Mineral Resources; Zurab Gozalishvili, Director of the Rural Development Agency; Giorgi Iakobashvili, Head of the National Food Agency; and representatives of the local authorities.
