ADB Education Sector Group Completed its 10-day Mission in Georgia

The mission held meetings with government, private sector and international organizations to prepare vocational education and training program “Modern Skills for Better Jobs.”

The mission has visited vocational educations centers and prepared action plan in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport. The plan aims to launch $50 mln investment program in Georgia’s vocational education sector for human capital development. 2020 will be dedicated to program preparation and the following 5 years to its implementation. The mission was wrapped up by ADB-organized inception workshop to present the mission findings and the program plan to the government, private and education sector representatives.
