First American Car Auction Held in the Caucasus by Lion Auction

Lion Auction hosted the first American car auction in the Caucasus, held at its parking lot in Tserovani. The event was organized in partnership with the Bank of Georgia, which continues to actively support the growth of local businesses.

The inaugural auction showcased 10 vehicles currently in high demand on the market. Attendees had the opportunity to acquire cars at prices two to three times lower than their typical market value. Lion Auction offers a wide selection of vehicles across various price ranges. In addition to the inventory on-site, customers can also place orders for cars still in transit or list their own vehicles for sale, with the company facilitating the entire process.

Live auctions will now be held every Saturday, offering regular opportunities for buyers and sellers to participate. Beginning October 9, customers will also be able to browse and purchase vehicles online at www.lionauctions.com.

Lion Auction is the official representative of IAA (Insurance Auto Auctions) in Georgia, bringing international standards and practices to the local auto industry. According to Alexander Tsulukiani, Head of the Corporate Sales Sector at the Bank of Georgia, the bank has partnered with Lion Group since 2018, and this initiative marks a new chapter in their collaboration.

He emphasized that the auction platform is more than just a new sales channel—it represents a transformation in the car buying experience and purchasing culture in Georgia. By integrating global best practices and digital infrastructure, this initiative contributes to both industry modernization and broader economic development.
