TBC Attracts $30 million Financial Support Component from USDA

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has allocated 30 million USD financial support for promoting US agriculture products imports to Georgia, as part of the Exports Credit Guarantee Program (GSM 102).

TBC is an only Georgia-based commercial bank participating in the mentioned program, TBC Bank representatives told BM.Ge.

“In the current situation full of challenges for the business sector, it is of crucial importance to develop the trade promotion direction. The trade funding limit attracted from the USDA as part of the Exports Program will promote imports transactions of our clients and provide more active and favorable financiering and enhance the bank’s positions in terms of fulfillment of trade operations”, Deputy Director-General of TBC Bank Giorgi Tkhelidze noted.

TBC Bank is a leader in terms of funding trade operations and the agriculture sector.

In January 2020, TBC Bank obtained several prestigious awards in the field of trade financing. The Global Finance international financial magazine named TBC Bank as the 2020 best provider of trade funding in Georgia, while the Euromoney has named TBC Bank as the market leader and the bank providing the best services.

Furthermore, in 2020 TBC Bank has also attracted a $67 million financial components from City Bank for trade funding.
