The episode will reach hundreds of thousands of viewers, creating an additional opportunity to strengthen the export position of Georgian wine in the U.S. market.
As part of the U.S. marketing campaign for Georgian wine, and with the support of the National Wine Agency and its contracted American marketing firm Colangelo & Partners, the V is for Vino film crew spent one week in Georgia in April of this year. The team visited wineries across different regions of the country.
It is noteworthy that the United States represents one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine, where the National Wine Agency has been carrying out targeted marketing activities since 2013. In recent years, the Agency has strengthened advertising campaigns with major media outlets such as CBS, CNN, The New York Times, and Wine Enthusiast, contributing to steady growth in awareness and sales of Georgian wine in the U.S.
The National Wine Agency conducts its U.S. marketing campaign in partnership with major American marketing company Colangelo & Partners. The campaign includes tastings and seminars for wine professionals and trade representatives across various U.S. cities; participation of Georgian wine in international exhibitions; and wine tours in Georgia for media, sommeliers, and sales professionals — all contributing to deeper familiarity and enhanced promotion of Georgian wine in the U.S. market.
