Georgian Wine Showcased at Orange Wine Festival in Slovenia

Georgian wine was presented in Slovenia at the Orange Wine Festival.

With the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, 10 Georgian wine-producing companies participated in the festival held in Izola.

The Orange Wine Festival, founded in 2012, is held annually in different countries around the world.

The exhibition traditionally attracts wine professionals, sommeliers, importers, distributors, and representatives of the HoReCa and media sectors. The program included tastings as well as discussions on the development prospects of the global wine industry.

Participation in the international festival provides Georgian wineries with an opportunity to showcase their wines on a broad scale to both consumers and international wine experts, as well as to representatives of the wine trade.

Around 90 wine producers from countries including Georgia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Austria, Serbia, Hungary, and Bulgaria took part in the festival.

Georgian participants also received support from the Embassy of Georgia in Slovenia.

It is worth noting that one of the main priorities of the National Wine Agency is the promotion and increased awareness of Georgian wine in international markets. As part of these efforts, the Agency actively implements marketing campaigns in the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asian countries to diversify export markets.
