Georgian Wine Roadshow to Take Place in Three Cities Across Japan

A large-scale presentation of Georgian wine will take place in three cities across Japan.

From April 7 to 13, Georgian wine tastings and seminars—organized as a Road Show—will be held in Sapporo, Sendai, and Tokyo.

These events provide Georgian wine producers with a unique opportunity to meet potential importers, distributors, representatives of the HoReCa sector, and wine experts in one space.

Such international platforms enable companies to showcase their products while introducing Japanese consumers to the centuries-old history of Georgian wine, its unique grape varieties, and winemaking traditions, which form an important part of global cultural heritage.

Japan is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine. In 2025, up to 200 thousand liters of Georgian wine were exported to this market, marking a 42% increase compared to 2024.

The Japanese market is characterized by a strong demand for high-quality products and a growing interest in authentic and distinctive flavors. In this context, Georgian wine, with its diverse вкусы and traditional production methods, holds a significant competitive advantage.
