Georgia Exports $565.9 Million Worth of Beverages in First Eight Months of 2025
As of August 31, 2025, Georgia exported alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages worth a total of $565.9 million, according to data released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
During this period, beverage exports topped the list of the country’s agri-food exports. This included alcoholic beverages valued at $172.6 million, natural grape wine at $165.6 million, mineral and fresh waters at $114.8 million, and non-alcoholic carbonated drinks at $112.9 million.
Alongside beverages, several other agri-food products played a significant role in export earnings. Georgia exported nuts (mainly hazelnuts) worth $59.0 million, processed nuts at $46.9 million, and blueberries at $45.4 million.
Compared to the same period in 2024, 2025 recorded sharp increases across several product categories. Notably, potato exports surged by $25.7 million, a 29-fold increase. Exports of non-alcoholic carbonated drinks rose by $21.5 million (23%), processed nuts and pistachios by $18.8 million (67%), nuts by $18.6 million (46%), blueberries by $17.6 million (63%), and pome fruits (mainly apples) by $6.2 million, a 4.5-fold increase from the previous year.
