Within the framework of the “State Program for the Promotion of Georgian Wine”, five companies received co-financing from the National Wine Agency.
This year, under the program, a total of GEL 224.3 thousand in co-financing was allocated to five Georgian wine producers: Villa Mosavali, Chelti Winery, Tiko Estate, BG Wines, and Askaneli Brothers.
In total, 20 applications were submitted to the program, of which only these five companies met the required criteria.
The volume of wine exported by participating companies to target markets reached 676,685.75 liters in 2025, representing a 20% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
As a result of targeted marketing activities carried out within the program, participating companies significantly increased their export volumes across markets in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
The “State Program for the Promotion of Georgian Wine” was approved by the Government of Georgia in September 2021, with the aim of increasing the export potential of Georgian wine and diversifying priority export markets.
The program is implemented by the National Wine Agency of Georgia, in coordination with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
It is worth noting that the Agency provides co-financing for marketing expenses only to those companies that export to priority international markets, excluding CIS and GUAM countries.
