“An Upward Trend in the Export Price of Georgian Wine Was Recorded in 2025” – National Wine Agency
“The increase in the average export price indicates that Georgian wine is strengthening its position in the premium segment,” according to information released by the National Wine Agency of Georgia.
According to the Agency, in 2025 the average export price per liter of Georgian wine increased compared to 2024, reaching USD 2.98, up from USD 2.91 in the previous year.
Across strategic markets, the highest average export price per liter of Georgian wine was recorded in the United States (USD 6.17), followed by Japan (USD 5.77), South Korea (USD 5.26), the United Kingdom (USD 5.19), Germany (USD 4.73), China (USD 3.14), and Poland (USD 2.50).
“The National Wine Agency is working actively to further improve the quality of Georgian wine, which should in turn lead to continued growth in the average export price. In conditions of intense global competition, Georgian wine must stand out as distinctive, of the highest quality, and characterized by unique qualities. Care for this must begin in the vineyard and continue throughout the production process,” said Levan Mekhuzla, Chair of the National Wine Agency.
