“We Must Make Every Effort to Clean the Environment of Plastic Waste” — Solomon Pavliashvili
Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili, emphasized the importance of collective action to address plastic pollution.
He stated that the environment must be freed from plastic waste as much as possible, and highlighted the need for both state institutions and society to engage actively in this process. According to him, improving waste management systems and raising public awareness are key steps to achieving tangible results.
Pavliashvili also noted that reducing plastic pollution is an important part of Georgia’s environmental agenda, aligning with international commitments to sustainable development and ecological protection.
