Prime Minster: over 65,000 Companies Used to Operate amid State of Emergency

More than 65,000 companies were operating amid the state of emergency, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted when delivering his speech at the Parliament on May 27.

Georgia introduced much softer quarantine regime than many European countries, the Prime Minister added.

“Maybe, not everybody knows, but no agriculture company, no system infrastructural project and no system industrial company have suspended operation amid the state of emergency. In this period, more than 65,000 companies were operating and tens of thousands of job places were maintained. All this process was under control and no infected person was recorded at these companies”, the Prime Minister pointed out.
