Irakli Lekvinadze: Competition Agency to Finish Monitoring of 3 Sectors in First Quarter
The Competition Agency will finish monitoring of three sectors in the first quarter 2020, the Competition Agency director Irakli Lekvinadze told the Business program, broadcast by Palitra radio station.
The retail sector is one of these three sectors, he added.
“At this stage, the agency is carrying a monitoring of 7 markets: pharmacy, oil products, pastry, cigarette, retail sector, children food and automobile insurance markets. Some of these processes started several years ago and the process in three sectors will end in the first quarter of 2020. The final report will be prepared on three sectors in the first quarter and the retail sector will be one of them. At the same time, the agency carries out two exploration processes and their results will be divulged in the near future”, Irakli Lekvinadze noted.
