“The products of ‘Ipkli Dighomi’ are being exported to the State of Israel for the third time already. This bread is produced using a special technology and is in high demand in our friendly country. I am confident this is only the beginning of a major success. I hope that cooperation between our two countries in the field of bread exports will become even more successful,” said Lasha Dolidze.
“Ipkli Dighomi” is the first company to export Georgian bread. According to the company, the products intended for export fully met all standards required by the Israeli Ministry of Health and successfully passed accreditation. Bread produced by the Georgian company is sold through supermarket chains in Israel.
For export purposes, the bread is produced using a special technology: after baking, it is placed in a shock freezer and frozen at –35°C, after which it is stored at –18°C in special containers. The shelf life of the bread in frozen condition is six months. Importantly, after defrosting, the structure and quality of freshly baked bread are preserved.
