Davit Songulashvili Meets with Young People Employed Through the Government’s Paid Internship Program at the Ministry and Its Subordinate Agencies

You are building the future of our country. I hope that many of you will begin your professional careers with us, and I wish you success on this responsible path,” said Davit Songulashvili.
During the meeting, the Minister answered questions from the interns.
Davit Songulashvili briefed the young participants on the Ministry’s main areas of work. He spoke about viticulture and winemaking, forestry reform, improvements to the waste management system, and the importance of reducing plastic consumption. The Minister emphasized the necessity of enhancing food safety and quality standards — an area that the Ministry and its agencies are actively working on.
It is noteworthy that, by decision of the Prime Minister of Georgia, a paid internship program is being implemented in public institutions and their subordinate agencies.
The meeting at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture was attended by Deputy Minister Zurab Ezugbaya.
