David Songulashvili Meets Speaker of the Israeli Knesset Amir Ohana
David Songulashvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, met with Amir Ohana in Jerusalem. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to deepen the partnership between the two countries, explore new areas of trade and economic cooperation, and address issues related to regional stability, according to information released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
David Songulashvili thanked Amir Ohana for the high-level reception, congratulated him on his election as Speaker of the Knesset, and emphasized the importance of the strategic and friendly relations between Georgia and Israel.
Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture, with special emphasis on the importance of support from the Knesset in advancing this process.
At the conclusion of the meeting, David Songulashvili invited Amir Ohana to visit Georgia.
The meeting was attended, alongside David Songulashvili, by Lasha Dolidze, Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia; Zaza Kandelaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the State of Israel; and Meni Benishi, Honorary Consul of Georgia.
