David Songulashvili Introduces New Chairman of the Agency for Protected Areas, Besik Amiranashvili
David Songulashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, officially introduced Besik Amiranashvili as the new Chairman of the Agency for Protected Areas during a meeting with the agency's staff.
The Minister wished Amiranashvili success in his new role, emphasizing the importance of strong leadership in safeguarding Georgia’s unique natural heritage.
“Professional and experienced leadership is crucial to achieving the strategic goals of the Agency. I am confident that Mr. Amiranashvili’s background will contribute significantly to the development of protected areas,” said Songulashvili.
The Minister also expressed his gratitude to former Chairman Besik Kusid for his dedicated service and contributions to the advancement of Georgia’s protected areas network.
Besik Amiranashvili, a lawyer by profession, previously served as the State Trustee of Samtskhe-Javakheti and has many years of experience in public administration.
