Company Created with State Financial Support Begins Exporting Dried Fruit to Germany

A fruit-processing enterprise called Caucasus Organic Fruits, established with financial support from the State, has begun exporting its products to Germany.

The company benefited from state programs such as “Preferential Agrocredit” and the “Co-financing Program for Processing and Storage Enterprises.” The facility has a production capacity of 35 tons of dried fruit (fruit chips), using locally sourced raw materials. Its products are now available in the German market.

Under the Co-financing Program for processing and storage enterprises, 111 such enterprises have already been established. The total amount of co-financing by the Rural Development Agency exceeds 51 million GEL. In the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region alone, 11 processing enterprises have been co-financed with 5.3 million GEL.
