Georgian Botanical Drink KAI Entered Markets of Poland and the UK

The first Georgian botanical drink "Kai" entered the markets of Poland and Great Britain.

As the director of the company Giorgi Jirkvalidze states with "Business Partner", by the end of 2021 small parties have already left for the mentioned countries, however, repeated orders are actively underway.

According to Jirkvalidze, negotiations are underway regarding exports to Russia, Belarus and Canada, and most likely Kai will be exported to these countries by the end of 2022.

"Because the drink is healthy, it was well received by consumers. The balance towards the positive is great, we are establishing positions in the local market. As for the competition, since there is no direct competitor in the market, I still believe that any non-alcoholic beverage manufacturer is our competitor," Eristavi said.

He explained that the company initially planned to capture a 2% market share, however, now by the end of the year the estimate is up to 8%.

The soft drink was created according to a formula developed by Georgian science and is made from 16 plants of the Alpine Caucasus. Production of carbonated-soft drinks during the pandemic period began in September 2020.

The investment cost of the project is about $ 10 million. At the initial stage, the company employed 50 people. "Change Chemistry with Botanic" is the main motto of the brand and will gradually offer new products to the market. Currently, Kai products are sold in large network markets throughout Georgia.

According to Kai manufacturers, the product meets all standards and has great export potential.
